Mid Devon and with an office
East Anglia. We are run by Jeff Bellingham and his wife, with a handfull of fellow creatives to call upon to meet even the tightest deadline and bigger projects.

AVA books are using the work Jeff produced for the Token Values exhibition during the summer of 2009. The project will feature in a new book on exhibition design, using it as an example on supporting exhibition graphics.
Token Values project was also used as a case study at the Reinwardt Academy.

The interpretation panel and structure
design will send lots of subtle but compelling messages to the various audiences,
leaving them with the knowledge that the interpretation centre take pride in their identity and offer quality products and services, ensuring visitors leave with an enjoyable, distinctive and memorable
visitor experience.
The designs will be intuitive, easy to read, and blend into the intended environment without overpowering the user. The designs are accessible for all users, so DDA compliance is a must for the design.
Flow of Traffic and Wayfinding
The basic principles of layout and spatial design will be considered when designing various parts of the project. These Include:
Entrance
Providing orientation information at the
entrance to the gallery to inform the visitor
about what is there, and helping the visitor
find their way around.
Need for clarity
There is an overwhelming requirement in the development of circulation systems in gallery design. Maze-like circulation of visitors will lead to potential for creating confusion and irritation.The limited space and options for different paths should help the visitor navigate the space.
Exit gradient
Visitors generally move slowly at first when they enter a new gallery space, and gradually speed up as they near the end of
the gallery.
Decision points
It is importance to assist the visitor wherever a circulation system presents a number of alternatives within the gallery. Here the orientation information should be available to enable the visitor to decide which way to go.
Rate of flow
A small gallery can often suffer from 'crowd stoppage'. A gallery with limited space is conceptual in nature and can be geared towards educational and family members. The gallery will need to be absorbed and enjoyed, unhurried, while visitors wait their turn.
Installation
Once all the graphics and other communication materials are complete, we will oversee the installation process. We will provide support and advice on all aspects of installation, such as hanging graphics, plinths, captions and lighting solutions. Helping to work towards ensuring a smooth, enjoyable journey for
your visitors.
